Running for Board of Education:
Running for the Board of Education will allow me to identify and be an agent of change for the students in our community. I will strongly support the adoption of removing biased curriculum views which in turn would encourage children to independently form their opinions through enhancing critical thinking skills. I will explore fiscal initiatives to identify real needs for our students, savings opportunities, and responsible appropriation of federal resources to lower the citizen’s taxpayer burden. I will champion to encourage all our students to become involved as volunteers to best support the needs of our community wherever their participation is essential. I will continue to support the SRO position in schools; focus being on education of law enforcement, drug use, and the de-escalation of situations.
